What motivated Fontana City Councilwoman Acquanetta Warren to start the Healthy Fontana program? |
 |
Acquanetta thought about developing the program shortly after she joined the city council in December 2003. Alarmed with the growing rates of diabetes, obesity and heart disease in Fontana and concerns with her own diet and lifestyle, Acquanetta decided to make a change and get the residents of Fontana involved as well. |
